Police are still searching for the driver of the vehicle who Police believe was involved in an alleged hit and run case in Lautoka on Friday night.
Police say a 23-year-old man from Namoli Village lost his life in the incident.
They say the victim was found lying motionless at the junction of Dravuni Street and Kadavu Street in Lautoka after 6pm on Friday.
He was conveyed to the Lautoka Hospital by National Fire Authority Officers but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are also requesting assistance if anyone has information or may have witnessed an accident anytime before 6pm on Friday to call the Western Division Headquarters on 9905457 or Crime Stoppers on 919.
