A 45-year-old man who allegedly struck his wife and daughter with a cane knife in their home in Kuku, Nausori has been remanded in custody by the Nausori Magistrates Court.
The man is charged with act with intent to cause grievous harm.
Police say the alleged incident occurred on Tuesday.
The matter will be called in the Suva High Court on the 10th of next month.
