A man who escaped from the Samabula Police Station and allegedly assaulted a police officer yesterday has been recaptured and is in police custody again.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says the man in his 20s was taken in for an alleged case of damaging property late Saturday night.
He allegedly assaulted a police officer and ran away when he was taken into custody at Samabula Police Station yesterday afternoon.
The man was recaptured earlier today.
