A Heavy Rain Alert remains in force for the entire Fiji Group.
The Nadi Weather Office says a weak trough of low pressure with associated cloud, showers, and rain is expected to affect us until later tomorrow.
They say there will be heavy rain with thunderstorms.
Localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood-prone areas.
This may lead to flash flooding of flood-prone low-lying informal settlements/communities, businesses, and Irish crossings, leading to traffic disruptions.
Surface flooding is expected on streets in urban areas with poor drainage.
Meanwhile Vunaniu Flats in Serua along Queen's Highway is currently flooded due to heavy rain, and the Fiji Roads Authority is advising drivers to take extra precautions.
The FRA says traffic is delayed due to a temporary road closure, and drivers are advised to plan and proceed with caution.
