Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer and music producer Shakira has teased her new track 'Dai Dai' on Instagram from Brazil’s Maracana Stadium, revealing that the song, which also features Nigerian artist Burna Boy, will be released on May 14.
This marks 49-year-old's second official World Cup anthem after her global hit Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
She also performed La La La (Brazil 2014) as a theme song for the 2014 tournament, and sang Hips Don’t Lie at the 2006 World Cup closing ceremony in Germany.
The 2026 World Cup will be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada from June 11 to July 19.
