He says he did not mean to go all out this morning as he wants to save his energy for tonight.
Young says the competition is good, with some great swimmers from across the region participating.

He adds that he is confident Team Fiji will walk away with medals tonight and is hopeful that some Oceania records will be broken.

He is calling on supporters to come out in numbers to show their support for the team.
Tonight’s finals will include the men’s and women’s 50 metres butterfly, men’s and women’s 200 metres freestyle, men’s and women’s 100 metres backstroke, men’s and women’s 200 metres butterfly, men’s and women’s 1,500 metres freestyle, the mixed 4x50 metres freestyle relay, and the mixed 4x100 metres medley relay.
The Oceania Swimming Championship commenced yesterday at the National Aquatics Centre and will finish on Wednesday.
