Solomon Kings FC edge Tahiti United 2-1 in OFC Pro League Challengers Group clash
Solomon Kings FC held off a late comeback from Tahiti United to secure an important 2-1 victory on the opening day of Challengers Group action at the OFC Pro League in Auckland.

Rafa Le'ai and Jez Lofthouse scored a goal each in either half.

Bradley Ruiz scored for Tahiti United in the second half, but it was too late.

Meanwhile, Vanuatu United will face Hekari United FC at 7 tonight.

The winner of the Challengers Group will take on the fourth-placed team in the Leaders Group to qualify for the semi-finals, which will be held on 20th May at Go Media Stadium, while the final will be played on 24th May at Eden Park.

The OFC Pro League will also determine who represents Oceania at the annual FIFA Intercontinental Cup and the quadrennial FIFA Club World Cup.
