Una Serevi of Yellow House has won the first gold medal of the second day of the Suva Grammar School inter-house competition underway at the HFC Bank Stadium.
Serevi won gold in the 1500 metres Sub-Junior grade, while Eseta Verenadau finished second.
Meanwhile, Lesila Lewavanua of Green House, who was the only Junior grade runner, competed in the Intermediate category, where she finished third in the race.
The Intermediate girls’ champion went to Makelesi Adivakavererua of Yellow House, while Elenoa Ratusaki of Blue House won silver.
After Day 1 of competition, Green House leads the medal tally with 14 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze.
Blue House is in second place with 7 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze, while Red House is third with 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.
Yellow House is fourth with 2 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze.
