Queen Victoria School and Tailevu North School dominated the 100 metre races at the Tailevu Zone this afternoon.
Jone Raibevu of QVS won the boys' Blue Ribbon event with a manual time of 11.02 seconds.
Raibevu had a quicker time in the heats, clocking 10.96 seconds.
Petero Tawake of Ratu Kadavulevu School won silver while Apisai Nasara of QVS won bronze.
The girls' Blue Ribbon event was won by Salaivalu Jokaveti Marama of Dawasamu Secondary School with a manual time of 13.86 seconds.
Anasimeci Boladai and Anareta Catitamana, both of Tailevu North, had to settle for silver and bronze.
Vailato Qumivutia of RKS won the intermediate boys 100 metres with a manual time of 10.80 seconds, Aviuta Tamani, also of RKS, won silver, while Isimeli Raibevu of QVS won bronze.
In the intermediate girls, Paulini Likesedroka of Tailevu won with a manual time of 13.58 seconds, while Sisilia Madranisinu of Naiyala High School won silver with Sainiana Nailutunauga of Dawasamu settled for bronze.
In the junior boys, QVS made a clean sweep, winning the gold, silver and bronze through Daniela Tuiloma, Atunaisa Seru and Joseph Daveta.
Koleta Waqanisaravi of Tailevu North won with a manual time of 13.53 seconds, with Loata Wawale of Dawasamu scooping the silver, while Vasiti Cavucavutu of Tailevu North came third.
Josese Murimurivalu of QVS won gold with a manual time of 11.85 seconds, with Adrian Samunaka also of QVS winning silver while William Raisoqo of RKS settled for bronze.
In the sub junior girls, Serai Marama won with a manual time of 13.99 seconds, with Sainimere Likubai of St. Vincent College, Natovi winning silver while Salome Tabua of Tailevu North settled for bronze.
