Extra Bula FC defender Filipe Baravilala says the team will review their mistakes and work on areas that need improvement as they prepare for their second Leaders Group match in Round 6 of the OFC Pro League tomorrow.
Baravilala says despite the disappointing 1-nil loss to South Island United, the side remains focused on the remaining two games and praised his team’s fighting spirit in a tough contest.
He says the players will continue to follow the game plan set by their coaches and are determined to bounce back stronger.
He is urging fans to continue supporting and praying for the side, saying the team still has a long way to go.
Bula FC will face Auckland FC at 2.30pm tomorrow, while South Melbourne FC will take on South Island United at 6.30pm. Both matches will be played at Eden Park.
The teams that finish in the top three of the Leaders Group will qualify for the semi-finals, while the fourth-placed team will play against the winner of the Challengers Group, where the bottom four teams have competed against each other.
The semi-finals will be held on 20th May at the GO Media Stadium, and the final will be played on 24th May at Eden Park.
The OFC Pro League will also determine who represents Oceania at the annual FIFA Intercontinental Cup™ and the quadrennial FIFA Club World Cup™.
