A woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly firing several gunshots toward singer Rihanna’s home in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.
The Los Angeles Police Department says the incident happened around 1.20pm on Sunday.
Police say between five and seven shots were fired, hitting the outside gate of the property but not the house itself.
Authorities confirm that there were people inside the house at the time of the shooting, however no one was injured.
Police say a woman in her 30s was later located and taken into custody without any further incident.
On Monday, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the suspect, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, has been charged with attempted murder. She is currently being held on bail set at $10.2 million.
