Fiji-born singer Sumeet Tappoo has lent his voice to a new Shiv bhajan titled Bhole Baba, released by leading Indian music label T-Series to mark the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
Maha Shivratri, known as the “Great Night of Lord Shiva,” is observed by millions of devotees worldwide through prayer, fasting and devotional music.
The devotional track also features celebrated Indian playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy, whose rich classical vocals complement Tappoo’s soulful rendition.
Tappoo, known for his devotional and inspirational songs, continues to strengthen cultural and musical ties between India and the Fijian Indian diaspora through such projects.
The track is available on YouTube for devotees to listen to during the Maha Shivratri celebrations.
