Co-founder of Walk On Walk Strong Fiji (WOWS Kids Fiji), Sina Kami, has expressed her gratitude for the generous donations that supported the Communications Fiji Limited Foundation Charity Walk.
She says she felt emotional seeing the high turnout, as she had no idea so many families would participate with their children.
Kami also acknowledged the strong support from CFL, which has been backing the initiative from the start.
She says he did not expect that the funds collected from the charity walk would go towards helping children fighting cancer and is grateful for the tremendous support.

Kami highlighted that the message of “Walk On, Walk Strong” is not just for people suffering from cancer, but also for anyone going through tough times, whether physical, financial, or spiritual.
CFL General Manager Charles Taylor says the support from the community was overwhelming and humbling, with people readily coming forward to donate for a worthy cause.
He added that support came not only from local residents but also from the Fijian diaspora overseas.
Meanwhile, Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations, Agni Deo Singh, who joined the charity walk from Nausori to Suva, said he has always supported events that assist the community.
He encouraged everyone to participate in such initiatives, noting that everyone face struggles in their lives.

The CFL Foundation Charity Walk brought together people from all walks of life with the main aim of supporting children with cancer.
