Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka reflected on the humble beginnings of Sangam that built a strong foundation based on unity, faith and education.

Rabuka highlighted this while speaking as Chief Guest at the TISI Sangam Centenary Celebration held at King Charles Park in Nadi, marking 100 years of the Sangam movement in Fiji.

He praised Sangam’s century-long contribution to Fiji’s education system, which serves around 10,000 students nationwide.

He emphasised that Sangam has remained inclusive, welcoming students of all backgrounds and strengthening Fiji’s multicultural identity.

Calling education a lasting form of wealth, the Prime Minister says Sangam has transformed hardship into opportunity and built generations of skilled citizens.



He encouraged young people to carry forward the legacy of service, unity and nation-building.

Meanwhile, MP Professor Biman Prasad, Opposition Leader Inia Seruiratu, Minister for Rural Developmet Mosese Bulitavu are also part of the celebration.
