State Prosecution has asked for a psychiatric evaluation to be done for the man who allegedly killed his 86-year-old grandfather in Navokadamu Settlement, Lutu, Wainibuka.
It is alleged that Charles Laxton Sundar attacked his grandfather with a cane knife, causing serious injuries that resulted in his death.
He is charged with one count of murder.
Sundar appeared before Justice Usaia Ratuvili this morning.
His case will be called again on 5th January, 2026.
