Good news for pet owners in the Nasese area as a dog desexing and health clinic is being held at the Nasese Church today.
The clinic is organised by the Muanikau community and the SPCA, with support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways.
It is aimed at helping low-income families who cannot afford regular desexing fees.
SPCA says services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to Muanikau residents.
Dog owners must bring their pets on a leash, while cats must be in secure carriers.
SPCA says desexing, especially of male dogs, helps control the pet population and improves animal health.
Another clinic will be held at the Raiwaqa ED’s Basketball Court on the 7th of February.
SPCA welcomes donations to support these vital services and promote responsible pet ownership.
