The Council says the team is out again this morning collecting kitchen waste across the wards, and green waste collections will also continue from where crews left off last week, with teams returning to complete the remaining streets and areas.
The Council reminds residents to bag and tie kitchen waste securely, place it in a covered bin, put bins out only on the scheduled collection day, and bring them back in after pickup.
They urge residents to avoid leaving exposed bags, which attract animals and create odours, and to consider simple home composting of fruit and vegetable scraps to reduce smells and bin volume.
Members of the public are urged to send direct messages on Facebook if they notice any missed pickups or hotspots.
