Multiple road accidents have been reported around the country due to speeding, combined with slippery roads and wet weather.
From vehicles overturning in Talenaua in Serua, to Princes Road, and multiple vehicle pile ups in Nadera this afternoon.
The Nadi Weather Office warning of a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Heavy Rain now in force for the eastern parts of Viti Levu from Navua to Suva, through Nausori, to Korovou till Natadradave and Naitasiri roads are very slippery underfoot.
People are being urged to exercise caution when driving in wet conditions.
Police are yet to provide an update.
