Swire Shipping Fijian Drua winger Manasa Mataele is determined to make the most of the opportunities given to him tonight when they take on defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific champions, the Crusaders in Christchurch.
Speaking from Christchurch, New Zealand, Mataele says the match holds special significance for him.
The former Marist Brothers High School Deans winger described Christchurch as his second home and says he is eager to take the field against his old side.
He adds that he has been looking forward to this match and is ready to give his best for the Drua, especially as it will be the final game at the venue, making it even more memorable.
Mataele also noted that the Crusaders have been in strong form in recent games, and said competing against them at this venue, along with the chance to start on the wing, will be an awesome experience.
The Fijian Drua will take on the Crusaders at 6.05pm today at Apollo Projects Stadium in Christchurch.
In other matches, the Chiefs will face the Waratahs at 6.05pm tomorrow, and the Reds will meet the Force at 8.35pm.
