Lutunauga urges parents to prioritise children’s safety during holidays

Acting Commissioner of Police Aporosa Lutunauga urges parents to strictly supervise their children during the upcoming school holidays.

While speaking at the Ratu Sukuna Memorial Secondary School Annual Awards ceremony, Lutunauga says open communication is the best shield against negative influences.

He says knowing where your child is, who they are with, and ensuring they understand the importance of safety is their greatest contribution to community welfare.

The Acting Commissioner has also called on all the students to continue to make the right decisions during the holidays despite the pressure from their peers.

He congratulated all those who were awarded for their hard work.

The Acting Commissioner acknowledged the school for its achievement this year and wished everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
