Indian cinema is making waves at the Oscars again, with six films including Kanguva and Aadujeevitham eligible for Best Picture at the 97th Academy Awards.
The Academy has released a list of 323 eligible films, and 207 of them, including Santosh, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, All We Imagine as Light, and Girls Will Be Girls, are in contention for the top honour.
This is not the final list of nominees as Oscar Awards voting begins on January 8 and ends January 12 with final nominations will be announced on January 17.
The Oscars 2026 will take place on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
