Kaile Auvray says Bula FC on track ahead of Pro League debut

Kaile Auvray says Bula FC on track ahead of Pro League debut
Bula FC winger Kaile Auvray
Bula FC winger Kaile Auvray believes the club is on the right track ahead of the Pro League season, as the team ramps up preparations just days before their first competitive match.

The 21-year-old is the son of Bula FC head coach Stephane Auvray.

Speaking to fijivillage Sports, Auvray, who was born in France and raised in the United States, revealed that he has been training with Bula FC for just over a month and the intensity of training sessions reflects the high standards the club has set ahead of its debut professional campaign.

He adds that the back-to-back sessions have helped players, including himself, improve their fitness levels and readiness to compete once the league begins.

Bula FC recently held its first open training session, an experience Auvrey described as important in building a strong connection with supporters.

Looking ahead to the club’s first-ever professional season, Auvray says the immediate focus is on being competitive and setting strong standards.

Bula FC takes on Vanuatu United FC in the first match of the Pro League at 2pm next Saturday at Eden Park in Auckland.

The club will host its first home match at 4R Stadium on April 15th against South Melbourne FC.
