2Former Swire Shipping Fijian Drua winger Onisi Ratave has extended his stay at Benetton Rugby beyond the end of this season after signing a new one-year deal.
The 33-year-old has been with the URC outfit since 2022, scoring 23 tries in 42 appearances for the Lions, and has become a fans' favourite in his time in Treviso.
Ratave says he is extremely happy to extend his stay at Benetton, thanking the club for their continued trust in him.
Benetton Rugby president Antonio Pavanello says Ratave represents a hugely valuable profile for their club, not only for his physical and technical qualities, but also for the consistent impact he manages to make in every match.
Benetton will be coached by former Flying Fijians and Wales boss Wayne Pivac next season. They have made a couple of statement signings in the past couple of weeks, with Wallaby centre Josh Flook and New Zealand Maori lock Isaia Walker-Leawere agreeing to come on board.
