A Flash Flood Alert is in force for Eastern Viti Levu covering Serua-Namosi through Navua-Suva-Nausori to Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra areas, Rakiraki, and the Northern Division.
A Heavy Rain Alert remains in force for Eastern Viti Levu, the Northern Division, Yasawa, Lau and Lomaiviti Groups.
The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers to the northeast of Fiji continues to drift south, and is expected to affect the country for the next few days.
People should expect flash flooding in flood-prone and low-lying informal settlements, communities, business areas, and Irish Crossings, which may lead to traffic disruptions.
