The Fiji Airways Men's National 7s team is eyeing their second title of the 2025/2026 HSBC World 7s Series after knocking out defending champions Argentina 26-10 in their pool match at the Perth 7s.

Argentina had dominated the past two Perth tournaments, beating Australia 41-5 last year and 31-5 the year before but their reign ends at the pool stage.

Fiji now turns its focus to a crucial semi final clash against New Zealand.

The two fierce rivals last met in the Singapore 7s semi final just a week ago, where fans witnessed a tense and physical battle.

Fiji will need to sharpen their defence and maintain composure under pressure to advance to the final.

Fiji will play New Zealand at 4.57pm in the first semi final, while Australia will face South Africa at 5.19pm.

The cup final kicks off at 9.04pm.

In the women’s semi-finals, New Zealand will play France at 4.13pm and Australia will face the USA at 4.35pm.
