Residents in the Western Division will have access to free cancer screenings and essential health services tomorrow as the Fiji Cancer Society will hold a community Health Expo focused on awareness and early detection.

The event will be today at the Westfield Harvest Centre CMF Church from 9am to 3pm, with health professionals, counsellors and volunteers providing free screenings and health information.

The Fiji Cancer Society says services will include breast examinations and Pap smears, non-communicable disease (NCD) and diabetes screenings, HIV testing, and counselling.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen early detection and reduce the impact of cancer and other serious illnesses in communities.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the free services, with organisers emphasising that early action can save lives.
