Seven-time champions Egypt defeated holders Ivory Coast 3-2 in a thrilling AFCON 2025 quarter-final.
Egypt led 2-1 at half-time and extended their lead through Mohamed Salah early in the second half.
Ivory Coast pulled one back in the 73rd minute but couldn’t find an equaliser.
Egypt will now face Senegal in the semi-finals on Thursday at 8am in a repeat of the 2021 final.
