Christmas Day should not be focused solely on feasting, but should be a day to reflect on its spiritual purpose and meaning.
The President of the Methodist Church, Reverend Doctor Semisi Turagavou shared this message during the Christmas church service at Centenary Church this morning.
Reverend Turagavou says people should reflect on how the meaning of Christmas can positively impact villages, clans, the leadership of the Great Council of Chiefs and the government.
He adds that reconciliation, restoration and reformation must be meaningful for the country if we are to build a better Fiji.
Turagavou also emphasised that our mindset is the battle we must overcome in order to achieve unity in the nation.
