FIJI Water Flying Fijians fullback Salesi Rayasi helped Bordeaux deliver a dominant 46–7 victory over Seta Tuivucu’s Toulon side in the Top 14 competition yesterday.
Toulon had entered the match as favourites, sitting third on the overall standings before kickoff.
However, the heavy defeat saw them slip to fourth place, while Bordeaux climbed to third.
Tuivucu, who started on the openside wing, was unable to stop a sharp and aggressive Bordeaux attack that overwhelmed Toulon.
In other Top 14 results, Perpignan edged out Clermont 26–20, while Montauban suffered a heavy 53–17 defeat to Pau.
Pau now lead the Top 14 standings, followed by Toulouse in second, Bordeaux in third, and Toulon in fourth.
