The Army Green 7s team is gearing up to maintain its winning momentum as it prepares for the upcoming Grassroots Fiji 7s competition at the HFC Bank Stadium this week.
Team Manager Jonetani Mudreilagi told fijivillage Sports that while a few players sustained minor injuries during the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s, it has not affected the team’s overall focus and preparations.
Mudreilagi says the squad remains confident and disciplined as they aim to carry their strong form into the tournament.
He adds that the Army will field two teams at the Grassroots Fiji 7s, with Army Green leading the charge, and a second team, Army Red, giving more players valuable game time and exposure.
The Grassroots Fiji 7s competition will be held this Thursday and Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
