A few young men from Buca Bay who are collectively driven by the passion for farming visited the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management, Sakiasi Ditoka to discuss ways the government can reach out and boost their initiative.
The initiative which is known as the Teitei Ca’au is led by these young men hoping to raise more awareness of the benefits of farming amongst youths and the general public.
According to them, this farming cluster is presently farming on a 5-acre agricultural land in Naitasiri.
They say they are driven by their vision which is Driven by their vision "Inspire through Farming"
Their major commodities include dalo, tavioka, and ginger, to name a few.
