Year 9 student of Tilak High School, Ameera Azraa Abdul sent a message to the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama this morning thanking him for providing them free education.
Abdul has thanked Bainimarama for making her parents life easier with the free education scheme.
Abdul says she will pray that Bainimarama leads Fiji until she achieves her tertiary education and would love to receive her awards through his hands.
She has also congratulated the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team for winning the Singapore 7s.
Abdul has also wished for Bainimarama’s good health.
The Prime Minister has posted this message on his Facebook page and says he hopes all students had a wonderful first day back in school.
Bainimarama says he wants to give a special thank you to Ameera Azraa Abdul for the message she sent him this morning.
He says Abdul’s words are a reminder of why they have supported all children, especially young girls, to climb as high as their ambition can carry them.
