Greenstar FC of Nadroga and Yalalevu FC of Ba have registered wins on the first day of the Vodafone National Club Championship.
Sanaila Waqanicakau scored the only goal as defending champions Yalalevu FC beat Nalovo FC of Nadi 1-0 in the first match.
Yalalevu also had the services of Malakai Tiwa and Shivneel Singh while Nalovo had reps like Vereti Dickson, Josua Tawake, Napolioni Qasevakatini, Sakaraia Naisua and Vuniuci Tikomaimereke.
In another match, Greenstar FC beat Press FC of Lautoka 3-1.
Tomasi Tuicakau scored twice for Greenstar FC and Zain Ali got the third goal.
Zibraaz Sahib scored the only goal for Press FC.
Press FC also had the services of Peni Finau and Sekove Finau
