A 45-year-old man is in police custody after he allegedly struck his wife and 14-year-old daughter with a cane knife in Kuku, Bau Road in Nausori this morning.
Police say the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident is unknown at this stage.
Police officers are at the scene.
Both victims were rushed to the Nausori Health Centre.
