Deputy Prime Minister, Viliame Gavoka has confirmed the Government wants to remove anything that is prohibiting media freedom and it will go very soon.

While speaking to the media following the signing of the Coalition Agreement between the People’s Alliance, National Federation Party and SODELPA, Gavoka says they want the media to be totally free.

The Deputy Prime Minister says it is part of the understanding that Media Act will be removed.

Gavoka adds the three leaders of the coalition parties are in total harmony on this.
