Registrar of Political Parties Mohammed Saneem has confirmed that they have received one objection to the proposed People’s Alliance.
Former Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka is the proposed leader of the proposed ‘People’s Alliance’.
Saneem says the objection has been sent to the proposed party and they are expecting a response from them within a certain timeframe.
He says the Registrar will then determine the objection and the application will be processed.
When questioned on the nature of this objection, Saneem says they will wait for the response from the proposed party before disclosing any further information.
