Warriors wallop defending champions Junior Japan 72-15 in round 1 of PRC

The Fiji Warriors started their World Rugby Pacific Rugby Challenge campaign on a high note after demolishing defending champions, Junior Japan 72-15 in their round 1 clash today.

Fiji scored 3 early tries in the first spell and a penalty kick from Jack Volavola for a 22-3 lead at half time.

The Warriors started the second spell strong to score 8 further tries with Japan scoring two tries.

The Warriors will now turn their focus to their next game against host Manuma Samoa at 3pm next Monday.
