Four years after coming off the bench for his 70th test, controversial star Quade Cooper will return to the Wallabies squad for the upcoming Bledisloe series.
A Rugby Australia spokesperson confirmed the 33-year-old would join the Wallabies in camp this week after meeting with coach Dave Rennie in recent days.
James O’Connor’s injury-riddled Test season to date has given Cooper a chance to resurrect his career which came to a messy end under former coach Michael Cheika.
The Wallabies will take on the All Blacks in the first Bledisloe test on the 21st of next month.
