One of Australia’s most experienced prop, James Slipper is satisfied with his Wallabies team being given an underdog status in the opening Bledisloe Cup opener with New Zealand on Sunday.

With a new coach, new staff and 16 uncapped players named in Dave Rennie’s 44 man squad, it has left only the bravest of Wallabies fans giving the Australians a hope when the first Bledisloe Cup match kicks off.

Slipper who has endured 14 of 96 test defeats at the hands of the All Blacks admitted the Wallabies do not have a leg to stand on when it comes to results against the All Blacks.

Slipper however mentioned that there were some really good, talented players coming through the system and there’s nothing like testing yourself at Test match level against the All Blacks.

The Wallabies face the All Blacks at Wellington’s Sky Stadium at 3pm this Sunday.
