Wallabies could be prepared to drop one test in NZ

Wallabies could be prepared to drop one test in NZ
The All Blacks will have to take their Rugby Championship show on the road, and now face losing one Bledisloe test in New Zealand.

The Wallabies are contractually obliged to play only one Bledisloe test in New Zealand this year, meaning they could walk away from the second test if the timing isn’t right, reports Stuff.co.nz.

Stuff.co.nz reports New Zealand Rugby announced last week that it would play host to two Bledisloe tests this year, but the dates of those tests have caused a new rift between NZ Rugby and Rugby Australia.

Wallabies coach Dave Rennie went on the offensive on Sunday, declaring that the Wallabies wouldn’t be playing a test in New Zealand on October 10, due to the insufficient preparation time caused by New Zealand’s quarantine protocols.

Stuff.co.nz reports the dates for the Bledisloe tests had originally been set down for October 17 and October 24, but that NZ Rugby raised bringing them forward to October 10 and October 17 late last week.

The 6 match Rugby Championships will be held in Australia in November and December. NZ, Australia, South Africa and Argentina will be part of the Rugby Championships.
