The Water Authority of Fiji says repair works at the Wainibuku Junction have been completed and water supply in most parts of Nausori and Nasinu have been restored.
It says supply will be restored gradually in other areas.
Six operations teams will be on duty throughout the weekend to work on restoring water supply.
The disruption was due to a malfunctioned gate valve situated at the Wainibuku Junction.
