The Fiji Roads Authority says the Vunayasi Bridge in Nadi will be temporarily closed for urgent repairs from 10pm Saturday 27th June 2020 to 6am Monday 29th June.
FRA says this is a planned closure that will allow their contractors to carry out replacement of the severely deteriorated bridge timber runners and decking.
They say during this time access will be prohibited and detour routes are available via Malakua Road, Masi Road and Tunalia Road. Road closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period and motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly.
