Vodafone Fiji is urging parents to stay vigilant against scams as millions of dollars in Back-to-School assistance will be processed through the M-PAiSA platform from next Monday.
They say to reduce risks, parents are encouraged to keep funds in their M-PAiSA wallets and use cashless payment options like M-PAiSA QR instead of withdrawing large amounts of cash.
They say payments can be made at over 3,500 businesses nationwide, including major stationery and school uniform outlets.
Vodafone Fiji also advises against sending money to advertised businesses on Facebook, warns of suspicious online deals and reminds M-PAiSA users not to share their PIN, OTP codes, or mobile devices with others.
By exercising caution and using secure payment methods, parents can protect their Back-to-School funds and their children’s education from fraud.
