Villagers in Vatoa Island in Lau who were affected by Tropical Cyclone Harold last month have received relief supplies like food rations, tents, stoves, water tanks, hygiene kits and shelter kits.
Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama and the officials from the National Disaster Management Office have visited the island.
Bainimarama also visited Vatoa District School and Vatoa Health Centre.
The government delegation will now be vising Makadru and Yaroi Village in Matuku before leaving for Kadavu.
