The Fiji Roads Authority has further extended the closure of Velovelo Bridge from 8pm to 5am until 18th December to undertake construction works for the new bridge along the Queens Highway, Lautoka.
FRA says drivers can use the detour route from Natabua Road and Wairabetia Road during the bridge closure.
The say the planned bridge closure will allow the contractor to safely carry out the necessary works.
