VOU circus impressive, the skills and creativity can be replicated in the school system – Kuruleca

The VOU Fijian Flying Circus continues to captivate many people and shows that we have young talented people who can showcase their skills and talents through dance, storytelling and other forms of expressing their emotions.

While speaking at the event last night, Permanent Secretary for Education, Selina Kuruleca says the show has pointed out how it can be replicated in our school system and it needs to be discussed among clubs and also to strengthen the PEMAC department.

Kuruleca adds it is amazing that they are our children and we do not have to go overseas to watch this type of show.

She says the show by the VOU group showcases fitness, dedication, time management, discipline, good diet and demonstration during their preparation.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Manoa Kamikamica says this showcases that our young men and women are very talented and exceptional and they can produce a show that is worthy of an international audience.

Kamikamica says from the Trade Ministry’s perspective, they will be looking at what they can do in terms of helping this type of talented show to be taken to a wider audience.

He adds that Fiji certainly has a major potential in the entertainment industry which includes film and performances at the circus. The VOU Fijian Flying Circus shows continue at the Vodafone Arena carpark.
