USP and FNU students to benefit from the Leadership program provided by Leadership Alliance

Students of USP and FNU are expected to benefit from the Leadership Development Programme that is being coordinated by the Leadership Alliance and the Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research.

Dr Phillip Harrell and Dr Rebecca Spence who are from the University of England say the programme aims to build values of leadership, build innovation, techniques and skills within the two institutions.

Dr Harrell says the program will enhance their strategic leadership skills and a greater understanding of social inclusion and gender equity.

He says this will also allow participants to reflect and build their skills on the specific projects to enhance the collaboration.

Meanwhile, Dr Joy Hardman from the Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research says the program is to strengthen the two institutes systems by working on their leadership development for academics and other parts of the university involving research areas.
