Quick action by the Southern Division Operations team resulted in the arrest of two men for their alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery case in Raiwaqa after 9 this morning.
Chief Operations Officer Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Livai Driu says the incident occurred at Derrick Street where a taxi driver was allegedly robbed by two youths aged 18 and 19 years old.
Driu says coordinated efforts by the Southern Division Operations team led to the arrest of the two suspects.
The two youths are in police custody as investigations continue.
