Two men who allegedly broke into a temple in Ba on Sunday morning have been charged with a count each of sacrilege and theft.

They will be produced in the Ba Magistrates Court today.

Police say the men allegedly broke into the Geeta Ashram Temple at 3.30am on Sunday.

Details regarding the theft have not been revealed as yet.

Police had questioned and released another man with relation to this case yesterday afternoon.

This is the fifth reported case of sacrilege in a Hindu temple this year.
