Timo Jankowski is Fiji Football Association’s new Technical Director.
Fiji FA’s President, Rajesh Patel says Jankowski is well known in the region after spending a year in New Zealand as a football player in early 2000.
Patel says Jankowski attained his UEFA coaching license in 2011 through the Germany Football Federation.
He says Jankowski has written two books on specific football development areas which have been highly received by the football hierarchy in Europe.
Jankowski has been given a 3 year contract.
Patel says they needed someone to create a plan for the future of all their age group teams and to work closely with the coach education department in producing highly qualified coaches.
